The Land Warfare Centre at Canungra, Queensland is an Australian Army training centre to meet the needs of combat training. The training centre was formed in 1942 as the Jungle Training Centre in response to the requirement to train troops for jungle combat in the South West Pacific Area during World War II. It was renamed the Land Warfare Centre, Canungra in 1975.[1]
